On 30 of March Technologies Park of Western Caspian University took part in the event titled "Business incubators are a successful platform for the development of small entrepreneurship" initiated by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Memorandum was signed on establishment of cooperation ties between technoparks, business incubation centers and other similar enterprises in the country. Speaking at the meeting, Sahib Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Economy, mentioned about the activity and highlighted the importance of cooperation. It should be that the cooperation includes the further functioning of enterprises operating in support of entrepreneurship development in the country, as well as the transfer of partner relations to business partners, exchange of experience and development of such contacts. Then business incubators and startup representatives spoke about their activities, innovative projects and new business opportunities, highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation between the business incubators and the importance of attracting potential investors to the innovative projects launched by startups. Technologies Park was represented at the event by three startup projects ("Parking APP", "Vooby", "My Task"). One of them is a student's project, and the other two are projects prepared by pupils with the mentorship of the university's specialists. Finally, 18 business incubators signed a Memorandum of Understanding on expanding cooperation and implementing joint activities. Technologies Park has a Business Incubation Center, Technology Transfer Office, Mechatronics and Robotics Laboratory, Idea Bank and other centers. There is free access to the Technologies Park and students who have ideas have access to technopark and get support. Technologies Park attracts secondary school students to various projects, practical work. Mechatronics and Robotics Laboratory operating at Technologies Park, entrepreneur engineers are provided with all the necessary equipment and materials for the implementation of robots and other similar projects. Technopark, along with supporting the realization of ideas, also serves to develop students 'thinking, as well as engineers' imagination. "
